Space Iceland invites you to an online meeting on November 5th 2020 from 13.30 – 14.30 GMT. The meeting will take place on Zoom.
At this time we will have Christan Krokstedt, Business Development Director at Swedish Space Corporation, to give an overview of the Swedish Space Corporation and his work.

SSC is a leading global provider of advanced space services with more than fifty years of experience. Since the start, pioneering scientific rocket launches in northern Sweden, SSC have grown into a renowned, full-service supplier of state-of-the-art space engineering, satellite and launch services to commercial and institutional customers worldwide.
Christian Krokstedt is a Business Development Director at SSC in the test and orbital launch department. Christian has a background in sounding rocket technology and payloads from SSC both leading and developing new projects and missions. He also has a background in Nanosatellites from Innovative solutions in Space in the Netherlands together with hands-on experience of plasma instrumentation from JAXA.
We will start the meeting with a short introduction from Francisco Cuéllar, master’s student in art and design at Iceland University of the Arts. He will introduce his thesis and final project about similarities between Iceland and Mars colonization and the impact of microgravity and space conditions on our perception of colors.
