This summer, Space Iceland is mapping Iceland’s potential and strengths for the development of its Space sector. During our initial research, we have come across examples of lost opportunities. In some cases, investment fell apart for the simple reason of no one responding to repeated emails. This, of course, isn’t new for us but the reason why Space Iceland came into existence. We are now contemplating if our report should include some of these samples of investment ending in other countries. Therefore we are asking you if you know of any projects that never came to fruition due to lack of responsiveness by public bodies, local funding, lack of support or red tape? No example will be published without prior review from those involved.
